company in the Southeast opened a new maintenance facility to service and accommodate the company’s 140 + vehicles.

The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of the new maintenance facility took place on June 2, 2015. The celebration was accompanied by many of Gray Line’s partners including Davidson County Mayor Karl Dean, Grand Avenue CEO, Carl Haley and President of Nashville Convention & Visitors Corporation, Butch Spyridon.

During the grand opening Mayor Dean stated, “For the past 40 years Gray Line has been in business in Nashville as a premiere transportation company. The company, like the city, has undergone tremendous growth. From new residents, to new buildings, to new attractions, Nashville’s economic landscape has prospered and as the city grows, so do our transportation needs.”

Chuck Abbott, President and CEO of Gray Line of Tennessee said “This facility confirms our commitment to the city and to the tens of thousands of passengers who ride our vehicles, and it positions us to continue to grow along with the city and the region. The almost 10,000 square foot facility features new state-of-the-art equipment, including two 50,000 pound lifts, a new water- and energy-efficient wash system, and a large parts inventory. The facility is staffed with some of the best mechanics in the state, and the maintenance leadership team alone has over 60 years of service with Gray Line of Tennessee. The facility is conveniently located within blocks of the heart of downtown Nashville, and is available to service the needs of out of town operators.

The new facility enables Gray Line of Tennessee to maintain and expand its status as the premiere transportation company in the Southeast.
